Welcome to Settebello, the hidden gem nestled within the bustling Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I’m excited to introduce you to this delightful pizza haven that has redefined what airport dining can be. Located at 4300 Glumack Dr, St Paul, MN, Settebello not only meets but exceeds expectations, transforming the typical airport experience into a culinary adventure.
Settebello specializes in wood-fired, artisanal pizzas, crafting each dish with an emphasis on freshness and flavor. The atmosphere, casual yet lively, immediately draws you in. Diners are greeted by friendly staff who are as passionate about the food as they are about providing top-notch service. Many reviews highlight the quick service, with pizzas being ready in mere minutes, making it an ideal stop for travelers facing time constraints.
What sets Settebello apart is its dedication to authentic Italian pizza. Many patrons, including those who spent time in Italy, have remarked on how closely Settebello’s offerings reflect the true flavors of classic Italian pizzas. For instance, Alison raved about the great flavor of the wood-fired pies, particularly enjoying the sausage pizza. Another customer, 'That One Chick,' couldn’t get enough of the gluten-free option, describing it as a delicious homage to the pizzas of Florence. Each pizza features a delicate balance of toppings and textures, with the crust often described as crispy yet foldable — a perfect combination for enjoying delicious, handheld slices.
Vegetarian options are also well-represented. Shubham's experience with the Diavola pizza, layered with a margherita base, spicy red peppers, and roasted garlic, speaks volumes about the creativity behind Settebello’s menu. The freshness of the ingredients and careful preparation shines through in every bite.
If you find yourself navigating the airport, be sure not to overlook Settebello. Whether you are in the mood for a quick bite or are looking to savor a full meal, this pizza spot has something to delight every palate. As Jason succinctly put it, “this is likely my new go-to solution for meals during MSP connections.” If you’re traveling soon, treat yourself to an experience at Settebello — it may just become a part of your journey.
I LOVED this pizza! Given it’s in the airport, I didn’t have high expectations but it’s better than restaurants in the city! The wood fire bake has great flavor and the options are fun. They have breakfast pizzas which I’m going to try next. I originally ordered the sausage pizza on my way out so I had to heat it up and it STILL tasted great. It’s similar to the punch pizza chain but a little crispier crust. Honestly I dare say this is my favorite place in the MSP airport and I travel every other week. The service was fast, and the man working the register was so kind.
OH MY GOD. the gluten free pizza is amazing. I studied in Italy for two semesters, and this was the closest I've had to the pizza served in Florence. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is fine for an airport restaurant. The staff was joking with eachother; super casual which I love. Overall highly recommend. La Tira was fun! I want to be her friend!
I tried the vegetarian version of their Diavola pizza, which was great. It has a margherita base topped with spicy red peppers and roasted garlic. The dough seemed fresh and was not too thick or thin.
Let me just start this off by saying for airport food, this is the best of the best. This taste just like a restaurant that would be on the road. If you had a bad flight, trust me this is your go to stop. Service was also fantastic!
ONE OF THE BEST PIZZAS I’VE EVER HAD!!! And I’ve been in Italy a few times… but every time I come through MSP… I make it a point to stop by and Enjoy a piece of Italian heaven…
Our flight got in around 7:30 PM. We chose to get a pizza to take home for dinner so that we could eat when we got home and not have to think about our meal plans. Best decision we could have made the pizza was about $20 and was big enough for 2 people. The pizza was delicious and was ready less than 5 minutes after we placed our carry out order. Highly recommend.
Fresh-made, quick-serve pizza. No line for takeout at noon on a Saturday in April. Just take it to the enormous daylight-drenched food court about 50 steps away. Lots of easy seating with panoramic views of the tarmac. From the time I walked up, pizza was assembled, fired, and in my hands in less than 5 minutes while I watched. BRAVO! Fastest food service I've ever had at MSP. Tasty with a nice chewy crust that was almost paper thin, but foldable and comfortably manageable as a single-serve meal without regrets. Quite flavorful, especially with the sprigs of fresh basil. (Kudos) A bit pricey at $19 (isn't everything now?), but In the end, worth it for speed, simplicity, flavor, and friendly service. This is likely my new go-to solution for meals during MSP connections. No drawbacks here, and that's quite a trick these days. Repeat visit at a peak time of 6:30pm on a Tuesday in June was just as good. Every table was occupied in the dining area, but I ordered at the takeout counter with no wait, two orders ahead of mine, and I walked away with my fresh-baked pizza in 5.5 minutes.
Yummy stone oven pizza! Averages a 10 minute wait. But I can’t complain, it is as fresh as it gets. Airport prices of course…
